We specialize in true skincare–makeup hybrids—formulas designed for skin that is dry, reactive, itchy, or easily inflamed, without compromising on color, coverage, or the joy of wearing makeup.

HOW IT BEGAN

Meet Kat, Our Founder

Less than 2 years ago, my body was covered in eczema. While I had struggled with eczema periodically as a child, it wasn't until adulthood that it became out of control—especially after the birth of my twin girls, Rey and Kaia.

After being prescribed multiple rounds of topical and oral steroids, I experienced TSW (topical steroid withdrawal) twice, which left my skin flaking, bleeding and, quite literally, oozing, for months.

I spent a fortune on skin and body products, most of which ended up in the garbage. As someone who had made a career in the beauty industry, I was stumped as to why prestige and luxury brands had ignored those of us with ultra-sensitive, flare-prone skin.

So I set out to create RAISON, a chance for those of us with hyper-sensitive skin to experience luxury and premium beauty products without the fear that they will do more harm than good. We all deserve to be pampered, no matter our skin type. :)
